Local elections are supposed to be non-partisan, but sadly the influence of politics can still be overwhelming. While it is impossible to remove completely the political influences on our local government, it can be lessened by electing the right people to town positions. We need a diverse group of citizens who are committed to working together for the betterment of the town.
